I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
