Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you build up your profit, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are astonishing. As is the case with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. Undoubtedly you have to be a black jack player who can readjust to the ups and downs of the game because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.
If you like the petite coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop aboard for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The deep pocket gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not naturally recount how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t remember how "high up" you went but you will remember that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
